• Description

  With a new reason to fight, he has been able to take complete control over his prowess of light and dark. He goes about in pitch black attire, as per usual. No armor, as it slowed down his movements and broke his concentration when using his magicks. Golden cross still hung round his neck to remind him of his days as a paladin, a lesson and a power he would never forget. The sword "Legacy" always hung at his side. A gift from his wife, with the birthstones of her and their two children embedded in the hilt, another reminder, but this one of his reason to fight and defend those he loves. Contrary to his rather twisted past, the man was more light-hearted as of late. Extremely sarcastic in nature, he makes a good friend and a horrible enemy. (Riskbreaker #006)

• Biography

  Blane was raiased by his grandparents in a small, out of the way village. He has no memory of this, as much of his memories left him for a mysterious reason upon his eighteenth birthday. His mother left him with her own parents to keep him away from his true father, who was a tyrannical king gone crazy with dark powers. Shortly after this, his mother was thought to be dead.
  
  When he learned the truth about his father, he trained in the arts of the Paladin in order to combat the darkness within. This lasted some time, but he eventually fell to the influence of his dark blood. Just when he was on his breaking point, he met Ava Falcon, a young lady who was arranged to be married to an abusive prince named Damion Blackcrest. The two quickly fell in love, and ran away together to start a family. Ava's love brought him back to the light, and he thought he had finally conquered his darkness.
  
  The two ran away to the Kingdom of Silvaria and were happily married. Blane befriended General Seifer Swordshadow and became a Riskbreaker, one of the leaders of the Silvarian Army, who's orders could only be overruled by the Silver General Himself. This was short lived, as the Kingdom of Silvaria was soon after overcome by a plague of undeath which left thousands dead and the kingdom lost.
  
  After spending some time in the Lands of Eileadora to reconvene and come up with a strategy, the Riskbreakers eventually went their seperate ways to find a solution to their lost kingdom. Blane and Ava who was now with child, wandered off as well, and came upon a dark castle ruled by none other than Blane's father. Blane overcame his father in a final clash and eradicated the dark energy that eneveloped the castle. It has been home to Blane and his family ever since.
  
  Living at the castle for some time, Ava had their first child, who was named after the mothers of both Blane and Ava, Dahlia Rose Kouji. Shortly after the birth of his daughter, Blane began to have dreams in which his mother would speak to him. He found out shortly after that his mother had not died, and she had been held captive for years in a far away city. He rescued his mother, and she continued to live at the Castle ever since.
  
  Shortly after finding Ava's parents once again and reuniting that family, Blane had found his sister, who he had also thought to be passed. He invited her to the castle, and the two have been extremely close ever since. Blane's family was growing, especially with Ava having given birth to a baby boy now, who they had named Zander.
  
  After some time had passed, Blane recieved word from General Swordshadow that the time had come to retake Silvaria from the Undead. The battle was fierce, but the Silvarians came out on top. Silvaria was once again a safe place to be, though Blane chose to remain living at his father's Castle with his family.
  
  Some time later, Blane found a young lady in the marketplace and mistook her for Ava. When he brought her back to the castle, it was uncovered that this was Ava's sister Vanya, who Ava had no idea of. Vanya was welcomed into the Castle with open arms, and has become a close friend of Blane's.
  
  Throughout Blane's life with Ava, he has been haunted by a pitch black shade by the name of Alaxad. It was later found out that since Blane had ignored his dark half, the energies had manifested into a phantom that wanted nothing less than to see Blane fall. The two clashed for half of a decade, until this shadow attempted to derail Blane's life by informing the tyrannical prince Damion of their whereabouts. Blane found out that Ava's past kingdom had labeled him a criminal, a front which was carefully construed by the prince. With the help of a guardsman from Damion's kingdom by the name of James Belmont, the Silvarian army, and all of his friends and family, Blane met Damion in battle defeated both him and Alaxad for good, and cleared his name.
